Changing the Environment, Not the Person: What real inclusion requires
Join Angela for a practical and human-centred introduction to neurodiversity in the workplace. In this 30-minute session, you’ll explore what neurodiversity really means beyond the buzzwords, gaining a clearer understanding of different ways people think, process information, and experience work.

Through real insight and lived experience, Angela will highlight both the strengths and challenges that neurodivergent people can bring, helping you move away from a deficit mindset and towards a more balanced, strengths-based perspective. You’ll also begin to recognise how everyday workplace systems, processes, and expectations can unintentionally create barriers, even when inclusion is the goal.

Importantly, this session will shift the focus from “fixing the individual” to designing environments that work for everyone. You’ll leave with a stronger awareness of how small, intentional changes in communication, structure, and culture can create more inclusive, supportive workplaces where people can thrive.
